Where it began
Born in Wuchuan, China — the other side of the world, where the story begins.
Carried across the world
Adopted by a Dutch family at the age of one, and carried across the world to a new home.
Between two worlds
Growing up between two cultures made me curious about identity, belonging and human connection — the foundation of my work.

Returning to the beginning
In 2024 I returned to China for the first time since my adoption. Photography turned deeply personal — an ongoing documentary about identity, adoption and the search for home.
