Pride was never on my planning to photograph. I had my 2009 digital camera with me simply because it fits in my pocket. But standing on the A’DAM Tower Wedding Rave boat, surrounded by thousands of people celebrating 25 years of marriage equality, I couldn’t resist. Throughout the day I captured small moments of joy, connection and pure energy, from people dancing on the boat to the crowds lining the canals. The old camera gave the images a nostalgic look that perfectly matched the feeling of the day.
